M/V Geoceanics VII

A dynamically positioned heave-compensated geotechnical drilling workhorse, boasting an enviable track record in the oil and gas and renewable industries, the M/V Geoceanics VII is available for work in Europe, West Africa and The Americas.

The vessel is a DP2 survey vessel with capacity to conduct geotechnical investigations for the wind farm, construction, cable, oil and gas industries.

Formerly known as M/V Ocean Spirit, the vessel is permanently mobilized with a heave compensated drilling rig, wireline CPT and a full onboard geotechnical laboratory.

A seabed CPT is also mobilized for shallow CPT oinvestigations for cable and pipeline route surveys.

The M/V Geoceanics VII is also equipped with a full complement of both analogue and digital geophysical equipment. With full onboard data processing capabilities and a 30 day endurance, the vessel is well appointed for long duration projects.
